- NEMRC was named "Field Service of the Year" at the most recent Field Conference held by Sorensen Associates, Inc., in Troutdale, OR in May, 2004. Sorensen contracts with 30 - 40 field services each year, and this award was made in recognition of the quality of work performed by NEMRC.
New England Marketing Research Corp. was founded in 1975 by Una Hyland O'Connor after she had spent 10 years learning the profession as a field interviewer in the Boston area. Today, over 30 years later, Una is still running the business with a warm personal touch from a by-gone era and at an age when most of her contemporaries have long since retired. NEMRC still has many of their original clients and an office staff with an average of over 20 years of service at NEMRC. Our field director, Barry Weener, worked as a lawyer in private practice for over 20 years before joining the business in 1996. Barry brings a level of professionalism, education, and intelligence to our small low-cost business not often found in competiors ten times our size. Our offices are located 20 miles north of Boston on Rte. 62 in Danvers adjacent to both Rte. 95 and Old Route 1.
